Kenya. Once its filled up inside, people hold on for their lives on
the top and sides
|Kenyan currency - shillings. When we arrived a dollar was worth 65 shillings,
by end of trip it was almost 75 shillings. I never got used to using
|At The Daphne Sheldrick Animal Orphanage we got to play with three baby
elephants. The youngest one shown here is only two months old. We also
saw two black rhinos and a large family of warthogs.
|These are from the home of Karen Blixen, author of "Out of
Africa." I hated the book so I skipped the tour, then I got yelled
at for taking pictures and quickly left. At least I got to see where
she took a dump.
