SELLING ROCK BANDS MOTLEY CRUE AND THE SCORPIONS WILL KICK OFF SUMMER AMPHITHEATRE TOUR IN
LATE JUNE
LOS ANGELES, CA—Motley Crue and the Scorpions have announced a 40-city summer
amphitheatre tour to launch late June. According to sources close to the band, the tour
will feature 90 minute sets from The Scorpions and Motley Crue (who will close the
concert) highlighting their respective arsenal of hits including "Dr. Feelgood",
"Kickstart My Start" and "Wild Side" from Motley Crue and "Rock
You Like A Hurricane", "No One Like You" and "Big City Nights"
from the Scorpions. "We wanted to bring our fans a in-your-face rock line-up for the
summer and playing with the Scorpions was the perfect match. It will be loud and
excessive." Says Nikki Sixx, bassist Motley Crue.
"Fans will be excited with this line-up, it’s a great opportunity to see two
bands with tons of songs you know. Motley Crue and the Scorpions will testosterone
rock’s answer to the Lilith Fair," said Scott Gelman, JAM Productions. Tickets
